We will take a sample set of students, get their scores in previous academic examinations or give them a standardized test to know the level of intelligence they have and the kind of subjects they like. The reason why we consider their liking of subjects is that everyone has different level of comfort with different subjects. We want to choose only those subjects which the person is comfortable in. This would help us in bringing every subject at a level playing ground. Afterwards, we give them three topics to study in their chosen field. They will study one topic with no music, one with instrumental music and one with music with lyrics. We would give them a test after they finish each of the topics. Then we compare the performance in each of the tests. We would also collect information about their family background so that we can gauge their intelligence. After this, we will try to find co-relation between all the features mentioned above.
